The joy of painting, the difficulty of mixing colors, and the sense of accomplishment when finished. When you look at dinosaurs from the perspective of color, you must have seen a prehistoric world that was a little different from before. We hope that the painting experience will be an opportunity to foster your curiosity and inquisitiveness.
Each work showed a wonderful dinosaur, each with its own unique dinosaur world.
Not only the painting but also the way the photos were taken showed your enthusiasm.
Now, we will announce the winning entries selected by Favorite staff!

Nakahiro
I painted it to look realistic, as if dinosaurs still existed today, taking photos in the grass! Maybe they would have miniaturized if they had survived?
Staff Comments
At first glance, the color scheme seems simple, but by layering colors, the depth increases and the realistic atmosphere is well expressed.
Combined with the contrasting colors and patterns, this work evokes the breath of a majestic Giganotosaurus.
Excellence Award
Unreleased: Dinosaur Paint Model 5-piece Set (Therizinosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Carnotaurus, Archaeopteryx, Parasaurolophus) + Original Sticker

Sakuri
I diligently and painstakingly painted this piece with the theme "Peeking into a Tyrannosaurus reveals the world of the Cretaceous period"!
It became a one-of-a-kind dinosaur figure that will be a cherished memory.
Staff Comments
This is an artistic work where the Tyrannosaurus seems to camouflage itself in the Cretaceous landscape!
The painting extends from the sky to the ground, and we evaluated the inverted concept of a dinosaur world expanding within a dinosaur.

I apologize for the last-minute submission!!
I painted this one that I bought at the Osaka Museum of Natural History. The colors and design are all from my imagination, and I tried to make it colorful without being too flashy.
I'm a beginner with little experience in figure painting, so please be gentle.
Staff Comments
The body and wings of each pterosaur are simply expressed, but the head, including the crest, serves as a good accent.
The work literally reproduces the concept of colorfulness without being too flashy.
U12 Award
Unreleased: Dinosaur Paint Model 3-piece Set (Spinosaurus Swimming Ver., Velociraptor, Tarbosaurus) + Original Sticker

Muu-chan
My 4th-grade daughter, who loves dinosaurs and moths, painted this.
She likened the sail on the Spinosaurus's back and its tail to moth wings.
It's a Spinosaurus mimicking a moth because it wants to be one.
Staff Comments
The ingenuity of combining favorite things and recreating the Spinosaurus's sail and moth wing patterns, which are characteristic of each, is wonderful.
The single point pattern on the wings is impressive, and the way the photo is taken suggests a story.

Soma
I layered black over green to express the Tyrannosaurus-like quality. The eye area was particularly intricate and challenging.
Staff Comments
The layered black paint creates a pattern-like effect, resulting in a rich color scheme with a strong contrast to the green.

Ryo
I made it with my dad.
We made the back black to make it look cool.
Staff Comments
The classic color Tyrannosaurus is enhanced by the accent color on its back, creating a work with a great atmosphere.
Idea Award
Unreleased: Dinosaur Paint Model 3-piece Set (Archaeopteryx, Allosaurus, Iguanodon) + Original Sticker

Icchi
It's a Mosasaurus being blown away by an attack.
Staff Comments
It's a visually impressive piece with unique patterns.
The blown-away Mosasaurus is wonderfully reproduced in a diorama. It makes one wonder what attacked it.

Ken さん
My 4-year-old helped me finish it, and it turned into a cute polka-dot dinosaur!
Staff Comments
This is a unique Stegosaurus with various sizes of polka dots as its pattern.
Although the base color is dark, the colorful dots stand out, giving it an overall vibrant feel.

Hinoka
I purchased this as a souvenir when my family went to the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum during the Obon holiday.
My children and all my relatives each made one, but in the end, the adults became more engrossed. Thank you for providing us with such a fun time!
Staff Comments
This is a collaborative work by a family.
The colors are consistent, and the overall piece has a cohesive theme.
It's a common occurrence for adults to get hooked on paint models.
Thank you for all your entries.
