"Always Together" Cute Dinosaur Plush Mascot
This is a mini mascot of a Triceratops with a ball chain, featuring its characteristic three horns on its head and frills, all condensed into a cutely deformed form. You can attach it to your bag or backpack and enjoy going out together.
TriceratopsTriceratops
Classification: Ornithischia / Ceratopsia / Ceratopsidae
Size: 7-9 meters in length
Period: Late Cretaceous
One of the largest ceratopsian dinosaurs that lived in the Late Cretaceous period of the Mesozoic Era, as famous as the Tyrannosaurus. It is characterized by three long horns above its nose and eyes, from which its name is derived. There are various theories regarding the function of these three horns and the frill extending from the back of its head to its neck, such as intimidation and defense mechanisms against predators, or use in territorial disputes and courtship among its own species.
Interview with Supervisor Hirokazu Tokugawa
- The dinosaurs from Favorite's stuffed toy series "Stuffed Model" are now available as "Dinosaur Stuffed Model Mini Mascots" in a smaller, approximately 15cm mascot size. First, please tell us your overall impression of the series.
- From the beginning, I had hoped that if we were going to take on the challenge of making dinosaur plush toys, it would be great to have a mascot size that could be attached to bags and enjoyed more intimately. I am very happy that this wish has come true.
- With the mini mascots, we tried to retain as many features of the dinosaurs as possible, which we valued in the regular-sized products, while scaling them down. I believe there are aspects where the impression changes due to the smaller size. Compared to the regular-sized products, what differences do you notice?
- As the size decreases, the design constraints become greater than with the regular-sized products. Therefore, it was necessary to emphasize the characteristics of each dinosaur more in the design, and for that expression, we re-examined the fabric and pile length. I believe we were able to create a cute design that captures the characteristics of each dinosaur, yet is different from the regular-sized products.
- Finally, please give a message to those who will pick up these mini mascots.
- Many participants in my dinosaur workshops and lectures, as well as visitors to museums and dinosaur exhibitions, attach dinosaur goods to their bags or backpacks. I would be very happy if these mini mascots could join them as one of the items to wear when participating in such dinosaur events.
