“Rockhopper penguin” is a collective name for three closely related species in the genus Eudyptes. This popular penguin often appears in video games and commercials. It is relatively small, measuring about 45–58 cm long. As its name suggests, it moves by hopping with both feet together, and adults have vivid crest feathers above their eyes. It can be aggressive and may attack animals or people that pass too close.
