A PVC figure of Iguanodon, one of the earliest dinosaurs discovered and named. Its collectible size makes it enjoyable both for play and display.
Iguanodon
Classification: Ornithischia/Ornithopoda/Iguanodontidae
Size: Total length 7–9 meters
Period: Early Cretaceous
Iguanodon was discovered early in the history of dinosaur research and was among the first dinosaurs named, by Gideon Mantell in 1825. Its name means “iguana tooth,” referring to the resemblance of its teeth to those of an iguana. A spike-like thumb claw is one of its distinctive features, and footprints suggest it often walked on all fours. Numerous iguanodontian teeth and other fossils have also been found in the Tetori Group of Ishikawa and Fukui prefectures in Japan.

- What image inspired the pose?

- Herbivorous dinosaurs may have had body colors and patterns that acted as camouflage against predators. I did not use a specific animal as a reference this time, but used dark yellow and brown rather than green to suggest protective coloring.
- Finally,Iguanodon About the Soft ModelPlease share your comments.。
- Fukuisaurus and Koshisaurus, discovered in Katsuyama, Fukui Prefecture, are also iguanodontians. Some theories suggest that iguanodontians moved in herds, so it could be fun to collect many figures and create a diorama.
