One of the largest and best-known stegosaurs. Stegosaurs are characterized by two rows of bony plates running from the back to the tail, while the four spikes at the tip of the tail were swung as a means of defense. Stegosaurus can be identified by its large diamond- or triangular-shaped plates. Its head was particularly small compared with its large body, as was its brain, weighing only about 30 g.

- What image do you have of Stegosaurus?
- It was once regarded as the quintessential clumsy dinosaur, but I see it as an elegant and beautiful dinosaur. I think the large plates arranged alternately along its back are one of the most beautiful displays among all dinosaurs.
- What did you focus on when creating this model?
- Stegosaurus is normally docile, but it bravely attacks carnivorous dinosaurs with the spikes on its tail. I created this model to capture the moment just before it engages a carnivorous dinosaur.
- Please give us your final comments on this model.
- At last, a representative herbivore of the Jurassic, Stegosaurus, joins the lineup. Recreate battles across time against Tyrannosaurus and Spinosaurus. Its back plates and tail spikes are powerful weapons too.
