Its most distinctive feature is the sail on its back, which could reach 1.8 m in height and is thought to have been used for thermoregulation, intimidation, and display. It also differs from other theropods in having relatively straight teeth and a long, slender jaw. A fossil specimen excavated in 1912 was lost during air raids in World War II, delaying research, but fossils discovered in recent years have suggested that Spinosaurus may have had a semi-aquatic lifestyle similar to that of a crocodile.

- What are your thoughts on the Spinosaurus Vinyl Model?
- Spinosaurus became widely known through Jurassic Park III and is as popular as Tyrannosaurus, but it was probably not as heavily built as portrayed in the film and is thought to have been more slender. However, a faithful interpretation could have made it look too weak, so I added spines and retained some of the ferocious image from the movie. Enjoy epic battles across time and geography, such as Spinosaurus vs. Tyrannosaurus and Spinosaurus vs. Ankylosaurus.
