Dinosaur Lab!, which has been performed in 21 cities nationwide since October 2022. This time, we visited the Shiga performance held at the Biwako Hall, Shiga Prefectural Center for the Arts.


It was my first time to see the shop, and I was surprised at how much larger it was than I had imagined. The person in charge of the shop also said, "We were given a very large sales space for the Shiga performance."
The sales floor is set up so that people can freely move around even during the performance, so many customers visited not only after the performance but also before it.

The shop didn't have as many items as dinosaur exhibitions, but it had an attractive selection of products, mainly original goods. Of course, Favorite products such as popular vinyl models, honekeshi (bone erasers), and mini model sets were also on sale. Popular dinosaur species such as Mosasaurus, Quetzalcoatlus, and Ankylosaurus were lined up.

In addition, four types of original colored vinyl models from Dinosaur Lab! are also on sale!

The lineup of original colored vinyl models includes Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, and Allosaurus, all of which appear in the show. The cutely colored Stegosaurus is a must-see. These are limited edition items that can only be obtained at the venue, so if you are planning to see the show, please check them out!

Finally, I also watched the Dinosaur Lab performance, so here are a few thoughts. The smooth movements and powerful staging, just like real dinosaurs, make it enjoyable for adults as well as children.
There were unique productions such as a battle between a Tyrannosaurus and an Allosaurus, and at times the audience participated by raising their hands to vote on which dinosaur was stronger. It was a very enjoyable performance that lasted about an hour.
I thought about showing some images from the performance, but I decided to just give my thoughts, as I really want you to go and experience it for yourselves.
