10m Wingspan! The Pterosaur Quetzalcoatlus (Suspended Display)

A life-size reconstruction model of the giant pterosaur "Quetzalcoatlus" from the Late Cretaceous period will be on display.

Experience its impressive size!

 

7.2m Wingspan! Le Prieur (Suspended Display)

A reconstructed glider of "Le Prieur," Japan's first glider, will be on display.

 

Pterosaurs: Rulers of the Mesozoic Skies

The differences between dinosaurs and pterosaurs, and the characteristics of pterosaurs from various periods, will be introduced through life-size reconstruction models and fossil specimens.

 

Animals that Aimed for the Sky

The exhibition also focuses on the flight of animals such as feathered dinosaurs, birds, mammals, and insects! Through taxidermy specimens and panel displays, we delve into their ecology and the mysteries of their evolution.
