Feeling: How does it taste?
Today's main dish is
Coelacanth BBQ

"What does it taste like?"
Surprisingly, there are people who have eaten the coelacanth, that iconic ancient fish. In 1983, a Japanese academic research team caught coelacanths around the Comoro Islands and brought them back to Japan. One of the captured specimens was tasted by Akira Toriyama as part of a project for Weekly Shonen Jump, issue 32, 1983. The meat is said to be bland and not very tasty. Furthermore, coelacanth meat contains wax and is not suitable for consumption. Since coelacanths have also been found in fish markets, perhaps locals are unknowingly selling and eating them. Both its ecology and appearance, as well as its taste, are mysterious!
