What are Cambrian Monsters?

Approximately 541 million years ago (during the Cambrian period of the Paleozoic Era), creatures rapidly diversified and evolved in an event known as the Cambrian Explosion. The creatures of this era are called Cambrian Monsters because of their unique and strange appearances. They are a truly fascinating group of animals that harbor an unforgettable impact, surpassing our imagination, and even evoking a sense of endearment. They remain largely mysterious creatures, and the more you look at them, the deeper the mystery becomes.

 

Displaying the Cambrian Monster Mini Model Series like Specimens

Despite their astonishing and bizarre appearances that far exceed imagination, these creatures actually existed on Earth during the Cambrian period of the Paleozoic Era. Each radiates a different personality, and when displayed side by side, their differences and interesting qualities are accentuated.

A specimen-style display allows you to enjoy the collection aspect while comparing the detailed appearances of the creatures, much like a three-dimensional encyclopedia.

It can also be displayed on walls, perhaps creating a sophisticated space like a museum.

 

How to Make It

The wooden base can be obtained at 100-yen shops, etc. Choose your preferred size according to the number of figures you wish to display.

First, arrange the Cambrian Monsters within the frame, determine their positions, and then secure them with adhesive.

You can create a more realistic atmosphere by making and attaching nameplates.

Finally, install a transparent acrylic panel on the front, and it's complete.

 

A point to note is that if you glue them once, adhesive marks will remain on the figures when you try to return them to their normal display. If you're thinking, "It's fine to keep them in a specimen-style display forever!", then please give it a try.
