Let's Painting: Your City's Tyrannosaurus vol.6

Painting T-Rexes inspired by your city, aiming to conquer all 47 prefectures
The 6th installment features Fukui Prefecture, Japan's dinosaur kingdom.
Fukui Prefecture is widely known as a major production area for dinosaur fossils.
The Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, a symbolic presence, is beloved as a leading dinosaur museum in Japan and is even hailed as one of the three great dinosaur museums in the world.

This time, the painting was based on excavated fossils and adapted to a Tyrannosaurus.

Each half is painted with a skeletal and a fleshed-out version, condensing the charm of dinosaurs into one.

The skeleton was painted with reference to skeleton models and encyclopedias.

This was my first time painting a skeleton, and there were many parts that made me think. It's quite a fresh experience to feel the dinosaurs from their skeletons.
