Beppu Onsen is widely known in Oita Prefecture, boasting the largest number of hot spring sources in Japan.
Among them, the hot springs with various strange sights are called "Jigoku" (hells), and "Umi Jigoku, Chinoike Jigoku, Tatsumaki Jigoku, and Shiraike Jigoku" have been designated as national places of scenic beauty.
Perhaps these hell-like hot springs are just the right temperature for a Tyrannosaurus rex.
