I painted the Diplodocus based on zebra patterns.
If you look closely at the white parts, I felt there were bluish, pinkish, and greenish hues within the white, so my particular focus was adding subtle hints of color there.
It was fun to see it turn out just as I imagined.
Staff Comments
The zebra pattern is skillfully incorporated into the Diplodocus's form. As a herbivorous dinosaur, it might have had stripes for camouflage, similar to a zebra. We also appreciated that the head's different color showed it wasn't just a copy of a zebra. The photo is also cleverly taken to blend in with the plants. This is a work that sparks the imagination.I'd love to see more of the "animal color series"!

My son recently became fond of Mosasaurus. We started painting it with his dad, deciding on a red base. He then said, "This part will be black!" and "This part green!" and painted the rest exactly as he wanted. Both he and I were very satisfied! We had a lot of fun painting it! Thank you for such a wonderful product!
Staff Comments
This piece was completed through enjoyable painting by a parent and child. While seemingly spontaneous, the overall color separation is well done, clearly conveying the trial-and-error conversations. The vibrant green and red base colors create irregular patterns, and the black tightens the overall look.

"Space Swim"
Spinosaurus, an aquatic dinosaur, went for a swim in space 🌎
~Key points ofこだわり (attention to detail)~
・I drew various planets centered around the sun on its back spines.
・I thought an aurora-like space pattern would be beautiful, so I incorporated rainbow colors.
・I drew shooting stars on the base.
It was fun to freely color my favorite dinosaur!
Staff Comments
This piece paints the concept of "swimming" as "space" rather than "underwater."
The arrangement of planets, a key detail, also looks wonderfully three-dimensional. This is a masterful work where the charm of space is imbued into the Spinosaurus!

As the weather gets hotter every year, I painted it with a cool blue base. I think it turned out to have a solid feel, befitting a sauropod.
Staff Comments
The refreshing blue gives it such a cool appearance. While the color evokes a light impression, the upward-looking angle effectively conveys the massive weight of the large sauropod Brachiosaurus. This unique coloring, born from a creative idea, results in a work that feels as realistic as if it emerged from a dinosaur encyclopedia.

I think it turned out really cool!
Staff Comments
This piece is painted in monochrome, with shades that create depth and convey the fierce power of the Mosasaurus. It makes us imagine a scene where it leaps towards its prey from underwater to the shoreline.

I put a lot of effort into creating the blue-green color for the back and tail sections.
Staff Comments
The reptile-like coloration is meticulously painted, reflecting careful observation of living creatures. This Mosasaurus is packed with careful detail within its simple design.

Yuzukiosaurus
I initially started painting it all green, but gradually my interest in color itself deepened, and as I freely layered various colors, I was drawn to the excitement that chance creates. With vivid blues, deep reds, and soft yellows, a multitude of colors overlapped to create a Brachiosaurus with a somewhat gentle and expansive expression. I feel like I was able to express my own form of life through color.
Staff Comments
This piece is an artistic creation with multiple layers of color. The colors and patterns born by chance express both strength and gentleness. It's a Brachiosaurus with aurora-like beauty.

I'm going to be a human anatomical model for this year's Halloween party! Pay attention to the realistic parts♪
Staff Comments
A painted work where the entire body is transparent, revealing the anatomical structure. Not only the skeleton but also the organs are depicted. A key point is that the bright colors prevent it from appearing grotesque. Is the T-Rex in the background a companion?

I bought a Samosaurus as a souvenir when I visited the Fukui Dinosaur Museum in 2024 and painted it using military model painting techniques.
I used an airbrush for gradation painting, then dry-brushed it, and finished with blue weathering paint.
The inside of its mouth was also sculpted realistically, so I tried to paint it vividly.
This was my first time doing realistic painting, but I was able to paint it as I envisioned, so I decided to submit it.
Staff Comments
While the base coloring is simple and not overly flashy, the meticulously painted teeth, mouth interior, and back spikes stand out, resulting in a highly refined piece.

Minobono
This is a Tyrannosaurus that landed on the moon.
Staff Comments
Countless stars and planets are meticulously painted on the Tyrannosaurus. The yellow stars provide a nice accent. The background illustration and nebula-like effect are also superb. This is a work of free imagination, unique to paint models.

Mii-san
I imagined excavated dinosaur fossils holding a meeting! I tried taking a picture by the beach in the early morning!! I think the eerie clouds add character.
Staff Comments
The skeletons of each dinosaur are carefully rendered. The unique single-color paintwork is impressive to behold. What are these excavated dinosaurs gathering for? Paint models truly spark the imagination.

Mamemoyashi
I finished these dinosaurs in colorful and pop fruit motifs. I hope you enjoy the juiciness of these five fruit-sauruses gathered in a tropical jungle!
Staff Comments
Dinosaurs with interesting fruit-inspired colorings. If they're colorful, they can't be scary, right!? Drawn by delicious scents, you might get eaten if you're not careful!
Thank you for your many entries.
*For photos where faces are visible or individuals can be identified, we have cropped them.
*Works that do not meet the application criteria, such as Paint the Dinosaur products or painting of individual sets, are introduced under "Other."
