Staff Report: Odaiba Dinosaur Expo 2024
The "Odaiba Dinosaur Expo 2024" is currently being held to great acclaim. Just before Golden Week, we'd like to introduce the exhibition content, focusing on the shops within the venue. It runs until Monday, May 6, 2024 (public holiday), so if you're in the area, please come and visit.
Unlike previous dinosaur exhibitions, the venue was divided into three areas: "Venue 1, Venue 2, and Venue 3," and each venue offered a different way to enjoy itself.

In Venue 1, the main exhibit was a powerful moving Tyrannosaurus. Looking at its feet, it was in the process of eating that dinosaur. Many children felt its power in front of the Tyrannosaurus. In addition, visitors could also see magnificent skeletal exhibits within the venue.

Venue 2 is on a different floor from Venue 1, and the main exhibit is a skeleton of a Fukuiraptor from the world-renowned Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum.
There is also an exhibit of "Tyrannomimus fukuiensis," announced in 2023.

Next, Venue 3.
Here, a Spinosaurus stands prominently in the center!
It's even more powerful than the Tyrannosaurus in Venue 1. Furthermore, this Spinosaurus is a rare swimming version.

In addition to the Spinosaurus, there are also full skeletons of Baryonyx, and skulls of Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops on display.
Venue 3 is located in the spherical observation deck, so the view was also spectacular.

Finally, we will introduce the shops at the exhibition.
It is located near Venue 1, so you can stop by both on your way in and out. Of course, admission is free if you only visit the shop. It was around 11 o'clock, but being a Saturday, there were many customers.
According to the shop staff, early mornings or evenings are recommended. The sales floor features many products, including exhibition limited editions, collaboration goods, and dinosaur museum merchandise.

In addition to the limited edition items, vinyl models, soft models, and painted models are also available for purchase.
The Spinosaurus was very popular, partly because it was on display.
Besides what we've introduced, there are also workshops and a stamp rally, so there are many plans for families to enjoy. It's an exhibition where you can see, learn, and create various things.
