■ Highlights
This special exhibition explores how dinosaurs, including the Iguanodon which celebrates its 200th naming anniversary in 2025, have been reconstructed in three-dimensional works and paintings over two centuries. It also delves into what modern paleoartists (professionals who create dinosaur models and paintings) like Kazunari Araki and Hirokazu Tokugawa (both living reconstruction model artists) and Takashi Oda (painter) consider when reconstructing dinosaurs, beyond scientific knowledge, with explanations from the creators themselves.
Furthermore, families can enjoy learning together through video content, cardboard experiences, and more.
