Gantetsu-san
My friend gave me this at the Dinosaur Museum in Gunma, and I tried painting it. I felt like a kid again and got hooked on freely painting.
Staff Comments
Reading the comment, I could feel how much fun you had painting it, just like a child, after receiving it as a gift. I was also impressed by the careful painting. At first glance, it looks like a bizarre pattern, but the more you look at it, the more captivated you become, and it enhances the Stegosaurus with its unique personality. It is truly a work that expresses "adults becoming children, and children becoming adults."

Rui & Hiroki-san
We bought this on the way home from the "Jurassic Great Dinosaur Exhibition" at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, which we visited as a family.
The day after enjoying the event, I painted it with my child. We made good memories and had a good experience at the end of our summer vacation!!

I can vividly imagine the fun you had painting this as a parent and child. It's a simple yet profound work, expressing a realistic Allosaurus. The way the photo was taken also shows great attention to detail, making it a wonderful piece.

Taiga-san
I colored them to express the individual strength of each dinosaur. Thank you.
Staff Comments
This is a work by a 2-year-old child. We evaluated the fact that all 5 models were painted and the concept of expressing strength through color. The carnivorous and herbivorous dinosaurs are clearly separated by color.

Camouflage T-REX. Hiding and attacking!
Staff Comments
An excellent idea to paint it the same color as the included background paper! From a distance, it really looks camouflaged.

Horn Dance
Little brother: "Hey, look! A rhino is dancing!!"
Big brother: "What are you talking about? That's a dinosaur! It's called a Triceratops. It's awesome."
Father: "You guys are silly. It's New Year's Day. That's definitely a lion dance."
Staff Comments
A "Horn Dance" instead of a lion dance. This work, including the comment, makes you smile. The details, such as the zori sandals and the arabesque pattern, are faithfully reproduced, resulting in a natural finish.

Rakugakicho-san
I made the moss on the Ankylosaurus's back sparkly with crushed shells. I created it thinking it would be fun and dreamy to have a colorful, jewel-box-like dinosaur.
Staff Comments
The idea of decorating the Ankylosaurus's back is wonderful. As the comment says, it's a stylish Ankylosaurus with a very fun atmosphere.

To make the main green look natural, I added yellowish-green between the yellow of the belly and the green.
Also, I heard that the plates on its back were used for display, so I made them a prominent red. Finally, I applied brown all over, and I think it turned out to be a natural look.
Staff Comments
This work beautifully combines the various ideas conceived before painting. This subtle charm is characteristic of a Stegosaurus, creating an atmosphere as if it truly existed.

Ikkun-san
My 3-year-old son painted this for the first time! He was swirling different colors of paint into each other, and as an adult, I thought, "No, that's not right!" (laughs). But then I saw him scooping up and painting with the beautiful marble patterns that formed when he mixed paints, and I was genuinely impressed. I wanted to submit it because I wanted everyone to see that beautiful marble dinosaur.
Staff Comments
This is a truly wonderful Brachiosaurus, with the eye-catching marble pattern mentioned in the comment. The child's free-spirited imagination shone through. The marble pattern might have served as camouflage, and perhaps dinosaurs actually had such colors.

Hisato-san
I thought it would be fun to have a colorful Spinosaurus, as we don't know the actual colors of dinosaurs. Yellow is my favorite color, so it was fun to paint.
Staff Comments
This work expresses the joy of imagining dinosaur colors. The pale atmosphere is accented by deep reds and blues. The complex colors created by the successful blending of different colors are also excellent!
Thank you for your many entries.
